2. What is a gas fired metal melting furnace?
The industrial metal melting furnace is applicable to melting of
ferrous metal and alloy
of low melting point. The rated temperature of the furnace is 650℃.
The crucible melting furnace uses a cast iron crucible which contains the metal charge.
The crucible adopts the high silicion ductile iron. The service life of the cast iron crucible is
of 10-12 months at the continuous working status.
The charge is heated via gas heating via conduction of heat through the walls of the crucible.
The gas fired metal melting furnace works with natural gas, LPG gas, methanol,
propane, etc.
The burner used is of quality brands such as Baltur, Riello,etc.
